Tiny Beautiful Things S1:EP1 Pilot
Amye is joined by her best friend, Steph, to recap Hulu’s Tiny Beautiful Things.
In the pilot episode, we meet our heroine Claire, played by Kathryn Hahn. Claire’s life is falling apart: her husband kicked her out of their home, her daughter hates her, and she finds herself bunking at a nursing home where she also works. Her one lifeline is the anonymous advice guru Sugar. Only, Sugar is not exactly who she pretended to be and soon it’s up to Claire to decide whether or not Sugar’s legacy will continue.
This series is based on the memoir by Cheryl Strayed, who penned the popular advice column for two years. Here’s a link to her column as it lives today at The Rumpus.
